new car

We just bought a new (used) minivan. We bought it yesterday (1-28-09) We looked and looked and finally found something we both liked that would fit our growing family. We bought a Toyota Sienna. The year is 2000. It is a nice blue color. The family that sold it to us kept it looking like new. Robert said it was too nice for him. I told him that it is worth it because you don't know what will be available later on. The boys just love it. They were normally asking for $4500 but sold it to us for $4000. The reason was there are two little things that need to be fixed. One is the back handle thing broke off and the other was a little part that latches the back window broke off. To get both fixed would be about $150-$200. They aren't major problems. They were really honest with us and told us everything that they could. They also said if we ever have any questions to call them. We can still open the back if we get a screwdriver and pop the little piece back there. The window isn't bad. They said it just flaps open so they have a bungee cord holding it in place. Maybe we will get to show it off at the wedding.

Nancy's wedding

Me and the kids are going to drive up for Nancy's wedding and hopefully Karl will be able to catch a flight and then back on Sunday and then he will fly back up the next weekend to drive home with us. We are still working on it, but The kids and I are coming for sure. We are SO excited to see everyone!

update

Hey everyone. It has been a while. We have been busy. We have a due date for the baby. It is March 13th. It is a Friday. We are excited. It sure is getting closer and closer. We don't know what we are having. Tyson is loving nursery and looks after Kaleb. Kaleb loves to hug and kiss his mommy and daddy and even Tyson. It is so cute watching Tyson and Kaleb hug and kiss each other. Robert stays busy at work. I just hang in there doing what I can. Hope all is well with all you guys.

So we finally made it to our new home...

Just so you all know. We are now living in North Las Vegas. We got here last Sunday after lots of hiccups along the way and more to come even after we arrived in Vegas. Details to follow on my blog later. This is the secret from "mum's the word" comment that is now common knowledge. We just didn't want to post it on here and then in some creepy way have Luke's boss find out and then we would be out of a job and $ for a few weeks before we moved here. Sorry but I told most of you on the phone anyway. We have a new phone number and address so next time I talk to you on the phone make sure I give it to you. We were so lucky because we got to spend Christmas with family this year even though we were in Florida... Karl and Megan were so nice to invite us up to Kentucky and we had so much fun. And then we even got to see Lisa and Ben who met us at a Subway as we were driving on our way through Louisiana. That was so good too. Too short though. We like the memories we create that are so fun to remember afterward. And family is everything. We need to do stuff like this more often whenever we can. Because without family you don't really have anything, just stuff adn dust doth corrupt, you know... I am talking to you, yes you. If and whenever we can (even with all of the hiccups and challenges we all face at different times), we need to get close, stay close and do stuff together because we need each other! I love you, all my brothers and sisters. You and my husband and Gracie, and mom and dad and Luke's family are what matters most to me. I love you. Let me know if there is ever anything that I can do to help you in anyway! And once we get our stuff from Florida and I get the moving company to call me back and quit stringing me along, which could still be a week from tomorrow before we get it, then we would love to have anybody and all of you come visit whenever. It is 6 hours from Draper so about 7.5 hour drive from Logan. Not too shabby! Hope we can make it up to Utah soon though and we can see all of you again. Gotta go but just a question---Has anyone ever done anything with the Better Business Bureau before? I am about ready to hop on a plane to FL, become a witch, and jump down these movers throats.
